Tested this again with Wine 1.4.1 (Macports) on OSX 10.8.1. Nothing has changed
at all and AlwaysOffscreen does not improve anything. 

The bug seems to be connected to bug
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11795 which is NOT fixed on OSX. I get
exactly the phenomen described here:
