That log is different, you're missing
msvcp80.dll.??0?$basic_ostringstream at _WU?$char_traits at _W@std@@V?$allocator at _W@2@@std@@QAE at H@Z
which was fixed in wine 1.5.8, see bug 27389.

Please try with a more recent wine (latest is wine-1.5.13),
or try 'winetricks vcrun2005'.

Ian, does this still happen for you with wine-1.5.13 or so?
