Hi folks,

there's a workaround to this problem in the AppDB [1] which I want to post here
for those like me, who looked at the bugtracker for any solutions.

Using the PDF-X-Change Installers and (partially) overwriting the installed
files in %HOME/.wine/.../%INSTALL_DIR with the files from the portable version
worked for me. I only tested if it solves the "save" problem and it did, so I
made not an extensive research on possible side-effects.

Note:
If you already changed some settings in the installed version, you might not
want to copy 'Settings.dat' from the portable version.
