To be sure that there are no custom registry settings I have reinstalled the
game from DVD in a clear wineprefix - and the bug was gone.

It is indeed the ORM registry settings which I had set to backbuffer made this
bug occur. With winetricks orm=backbuffer the rear view is upside down, without
it, everything is ok.
