the backtrace shows a problem with 64-bit java runtime installer and not the
application itself.

Anyway ... the 64-bit JRE install works fine here, assuming fixed.
Reopen if still present with _recent_ Wine version (and clean WINEPREFIX).

$ du -sh jre-7u11-windows-x64.exe 
32M    jre-7u11-windows-x64.exe

$ sha1sum jre-7u11-windows-x64.exe 
41c3af2cf67c367066863a067ce831cf80586cdb  jre-7u11-windows-x64.exe

$ wine --version
wine-1.5.28-216-gbf92fbb
