Are you using a third-party utility to switch your Mac to 16-bit color
("thousands") instead of 32-bit color ("millions")?  If so, does switching to
32-bit color fix the issue?

Does switching to the X11 driver fix the issue?  You can switch by setting the
registry key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Drivers]
"Graphics"="x11"
