It just sat there all night chewing up the cpu.

The last few lines on the screen are

The ErrorHandler message comes up after just a few seconds, then nothing.

+relay gives the same TYummyPatcherInterface error, so I can't look at
a relay log.

Running with +ntdll,+kernel32,+file,+d3d,+msvcrt show lots of lines like:
