[Bug 34313] wine versions from 1.5 to 1.6-rc5 do not install in Ubuntu

Regarding the sound, I'm not sure what the issue is.
The error message seems to be:
fixme:winmm:MXD_SetControlDetails What should the sw-side mixer controls map
to?

However, I did note that when installing wine1.4 it only installed the basic
4-5 wine programs and none of the usual dependencies. 

I tried running apt-get build-dep wine1.4 and added all dependencies that way,
but that did not help.
