Hello folks,

can't reproduce, installs fine in clean 32-bit and 64-bit WINEPREFIX

Prerequisite: 'winetricks -q mfc42' (it's needed by one component at the very
end):

err:module:import_dll Library MFC42.DLL (which is needed by
L"C:\\Aldec\\Active-HDL Student Edition\\BIN\\popup.ocx") not found

I did a full install with all components selected:

$ du -sh .wine
3.7G    .wine
--- snip ---

There is an installer log file "Active-HDL Student Edition Setup Log" located
here: "C:\\ActiveHDLSESetup.log"

I didn't encounter bug 35058 during install .. why does this bug depend on it?

Austin, please try to fix your distro/wine build before reporting/verifying
bugs, it skews the actual results.

$ sha1sum Active-HDL_Student_Edition.exe

$ du -sh Active-HDL_Student_Edition.exe
