Actually I had this bug using alsa.The fact you have a similar bug with
something else than alsa is maybe related to a different bug I don't know.

Anyway, when I reported this bug I had a soundcard that caused kernel oops
everytime I was running winecfg with any distribution and any version of wine.

So maybe it was related to the driver itself. (check bug33273)

I will try to reinstall sc2 and try again with my actual soundcard.
