Hello Andrey,

you forgot to tell that you ran the installer in a low res virtual desktop
mode.
I get the same behaviour when running the installer in virtual desktop mode
800x600.
That kind of artifacting is expected there (downsizing a fixed width/height
image) and has nothing to do with 'palette'. 

Run the installer in fullscreen or desktop mode with at least 1024x768 or
better higher.

I'm tempted to say 'invalid'.
