You need to configure wine to emulate windows vista.

You can use winecfg (http://wiki.winehq.org/winecfg) if you like a GUI for
this, or winetricks (http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks) if you enjoy the
commandline.

wget http://winetricks.org/winetricks
sh winetricks vista

PS. The next error pop up is "Setup was unable to download a required file" .
This might be a BITS problem.
