FYI I am looking through this at the moment, although I'm not quite sure what I
am supposed to be running. In the root dir is installed a batch program which
does call the addpath one you list below which shows a number of problems with
wine, so I am focussing on getting those going. Note you will also need a
findstr.exe from windows for now to get this going even when I've fixed the cmd
issues I can see.

Can you please raise a separate bug for this issue

I cant see who should be setting the python path you refer to although its not
my priority at the moment as I can see enough bugs to be getting on with. I'll
get those into the product and get you to retest!
