Does 'winetricks wmp9 quartz devenum' help?
It's crashing when trying to play the intro videos if audio is enabled in
TruthSetup.exe.
If you disable audio in the configuration tool then the game simply skips the
intro videos so you can get in the menus, but it will crash when displaying the
mission briefing.
