Still seeing the download error dialog with wine-1.6-rc4.
Prerequisites: 
 work around bug 25658 with dotnet20
 work around bug 33880 and bug 28652 with gdiplus
 ignore intermittent .net-ish error dialog about a 404 error
I'll attach a +wininet,+winsock,+text,+dialog log where it failed to download
