The original problem was about a crash, that seems fixed at least. I can
reproduce the original problem in wine 1.2.3 but not in wine 1.6-rc5.

But I'm getting psychedelic colors in wine 1.6-rc5 (both fullscreen and
emulated desktop), there is an endless loop of:

fixme:d3d_surface:surface_cpu_blt Filter WINED3D_TEXF_LINEAR not supported in
software blit.
fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set.

Can anyone retest? It's a 700kb download. If no one test I'll mark fixed in a
few days.
