Tested the demo,
dd2f18068f16a1353a3490d95723b746cec8050f 
/home/dank/installers/telltale/SBCG4AP_Homestar_Ruiner_setup.exe

Works great with native d3dx9_36.dll on wine-1.6-rc1, so fixed.

I'll file a new bug for the problem without native d3dx9_36.

And might I say I liked the opening quite a bit.
