[Bug 31113] Civilization V crashes after specific amount of game turns

The problem appears to be growing more serious since upgrading to Ubuntu 13:04,
at least on my machine. The game is now crashing and locking up my computer, so
the only way to escape the game is to crash the computer. There also seems to
be some kind of Ubuntu problem with updating Wine, and with setting up
Winetricks, beginning with Ubuntu 12:10.
