I'm using gentoo and installed wine --version 1.5.21 and I used Kindle PC build
1.10.5 and installing the wine tricks without deleting vc90 worked. 

Using this fixed my sha1sum error(DroidSansFallback.ttf sha1sum mismatch) when
you get if you download all fonts
