I updated to 1.5.24

On first installation, the crash did occur once (see attached backtrace2), but
the installed completed its job. I was able to run the software after that
without any crash.

I uninstalled it, then the crash started to happen randomly (or not happen at
all) during install and/or uninstall. I can't run the software at all now, it
crashes every single time. :(
