Thanks again Rob. In the future, it would be best if you can keep generating
logs with the ALSA driver, as that's the supported driver in Wine and I'm most
familiar with it.

One thing to try might be grabbing the .WAV file at:
http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/blob_plain/HEAD:/programs/winecfg/idw_testsound.wav
and trying to play it in the PlaySound program. Then we should be testing
apples to apples.

Are you comfortable compiling Wine to test? I can give you some patches to
output more debug messages, so we can try to see where we're losing the audio.
Everything in your log looks basically identical to what happens when I hit the
Test Sound button on my computer, so I'm really confused why this isn't working
for you.
