The installer completes fine in wine-1.5.25-69-g402b100. Since this bug has
been around for a while, I bisected to find the fix. It was
e4717c299efa4f7e281de9eb8782b632b5539df1.

There are remaining issues, e.g., the UI is very broken without native jscript
(bug 19439) and trying to play winecfg's test sound crashes (bug 33134).
