Thanks to Mr. Focht!

I will try this. I could not find 1.5.25 for OSX as a DMG but I did get this
far with 1.5.23. 

Have you had any luck with the create a database or open a database functions?

The former crashed up after creating the database and the latter hangs without
activity.
