There seems to be a regression in wine (at least in 1.5.24). I have the same
error in both BlitzKrieg 1.2 and Stalingrad demo:

err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7bcc4960 "loader.c:
loader_section" wait timed out in thread 0023, blocked by 0009, retrying (60
sec)
