Great detective work!  But as Alexandre says, it's a problem with the mouse.
What does lsusb report for that mouse?  (apologies if you've already said that
and I've missed it.)

Have you submitted a bug report to the mouse/mouse driver vendor yet, per
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2013-May/099769.html ?

Also, think this should be closed as invalid, since it's a bug in the mouse or
its driver?
