I just switched my graphics card. The old card had 512 MB video memory, the new
one has 1GB. When I looked into the registry entry it still contained 512MB. So
I changed the value to 1024 and now it workes.

Before this change I was not able to switch the graphics settings, as every
time I attempted to confirm the changes the game crashed with the out of
memeory error. Now this works without problems.
