The fact is that the currently available demo version is an updated one, and it
is indeed running fine in Wine (wine-1.5.30-88-g7559526). The original version
still fails to start under Wine with an "incompatible hardware detected"
message, and this version is still available at:
http://www.geforce.com/games-applications/pc-games/bridge-it/downloads

It could worth the effort to see how these 2 different versions behave under
native Windows (I don't have Windows installed, so can't test any of them).
