I'm finally getting around to digging into this a little bit, would you mind
seeing what happens permissions-wise on Windows for the user's "Application
Data/MakeMusic" folder?  I suspect that it's setting world-writable permissions
(exclusively) and inheriting permissions from the parent folder that allows the
user to continue to read the files.
