Most of apps (incl. winecfg) produce grunting sound when there's more than 2
channels. But even so Stalker CS (using OpenAL probably) produces clear sound
on 5.1 profile. Also Zandronum  sounds clear (but with bug #34887) when it uses
dsound, but without dsound it grunts too.
