Unfortunately I no longer have access to the environment in question, so I
can't test the latest version. I believe that back when I did, I had tested
many 1.5.x versions without success, although it's possible that the specific
cause of the errors has changed.

Feel free to close this, although anyone with Excel and an Analysis Services
OLAP cube should be able to test it out easily enough. (The latter bit is the
trickier part.)
