Well, It seems that the previous bug was abandoned before anyone had verified
if installing the direct play libraries would have fixed the issue. I can
confirm that the issue remains after installing them on wine 1.7.7 .

>From what I can read online,this game uses an early version of the engine later
used for the Ford Racing series, which appears to be somewhat working in wine.
