As I mentioned previously, installation still succeeds, even though the GUI
locks up partway through. At least this was the case for The Witcher; I don't
know if NWN2 gives you CD keys you need to enter manually or something like
that at the end...



In any event, I think more research needs to be done on how Windows handles
wndprocs slots.
It doesn't seem too far-fetched to presume that the callback is freed once the
timer expires, or when KillTimer is called to cleanup.
