I'm asking to reopen this bug. In Wine 1.7.4 this is still a problem.
Installing the DLLs suggested by OdzioM or changing the sound quality doesn't
help. I've attatched a new sound log.

On Windows Vista (without Wine) the sound doesn't work either, but I guess it
would work on the older Windows versions. "StreamOpen Error" doesn't appear
even on Windows Vista.

The problem can be reproduced in the demo (someone please add it to the URL

Tested with
Ubuntu 13.04, GeForce 9600M GS (NVIDIA driver 313)
Mac OS X 10.7.5, ATI HD 2600 Pro, Mac Driver/X11
