Does commit 74faebd68d738ef44cc5990e883091329f72d7d7 / Wine 1.7.1 make it any
better? Does it work with r600g?

System lockups are not Wine bugs by definition, even if something Wine does
triggers them. In this case, I think it's likely fglrx is to blame for locking
up the system.
