I don't have this problem anymore with gentoo 64 kernel 3.10.7, nvidia-319.49, 
wine-1.7.0

I can't tell if it's due to reinstalling my system in 64 instead of 32, or
addind RAM, or upgrading wine version which solved the problem but anyway it
seems fixed
