Hey there,

I'm the 'genius' who had a potential buffer overrun in Evolve. This code is
literally >5 years old, so I'm amazed this hasn't manifested itself on Windows
before. Like you said, Windows probably probes the memory in a more intelligent
fashion to mask the error.

Anyway, I'll have it fixed in the next version of the Evolve client (1.7.10).
