backtrace: saving a modified pdf with "safe as"

Since I updated Ubuntu (now: 14.04), I have following problems: If I want to
safe commented pdf's in pdf XChange Viewer or copy and paste and so on, the
program crashes (see back trace attached). Some .exe-installers are working,
others don't. All the new installations under wine 1.7.16 and older ones (also
1.4x) don't work. There is a "fatal error: SIGABRT received".
What can I do? I urgently need a runnig pdf editor!
