Sure, people can always gift me a copy of any Steam game that doesn't work for
them for analysis.

Unfortunately there is no way to gift it back after analysis/fixing (as far as
I know) which is a pity.
So it's more an "investment" in the community because others will likely
benefit. :)

Anyway, it's a dupe of bug 32515 (OP already indicated CEG with comment #2)
