I wasnt clear enough.

The installer hang for me for some reason, I couldnt exit the directx
installer. Also some other window hang, but the game got installed.

I tried the demo. And it starts, no crash. I can see the intro movie. 

But when I tried to start a new game --> blank screen.

I am not completely clean prefix now, I will retry later and delete all wine
content before trying.

Wine I used was from ubuntu ppa, 1.7.17

But I got vanilla wine from git (which I havent tried so far).
