Please don't overuse 'winetricks' recipes.
It makes diagnosis hard and the bug possibly invalid.
Try to install as 'clean' as possible (preferably without any native
components).

If you figured out it really needs some dx9 override to work around a known
issues, explicitly state it in the bug.

No, please don't change the default WINEPREFIX WinVer (Windows XP) unless the
installer explicitly asks for it.
Changing to higher Windows version tends to make things worse.

I'm (re)setting the bug fields based on your report.
The former values were pretty much invalid (Wine 2.3? Wineskin on OSX, sure).
