Hello,
I switched to ubuntu on the day windows stopped support for XP and since then
I've been using the windows version of steam on ubuntu. It was working
perfectly until I upgraded to ubuntu 14.04. I'm now having (I think) the same
problem. Steam starts with no fonts (fixed it with a -no-dwrite at the end of
the shortcut/ launch command) and the game I want to play most (The Hidden:
Source 4b which is a Source Base SDK 2006 game) crashes when AND ONLY WHEN I
hit a key on the keyboard. I tried removing and reinstalling steam and the
game, did the  (rm -rf .wine) thing and nothing seems to work. Please help?
I also tried many versions of wine (the latest being 1.7.17)
