The OP had a different video card, but if it helps this bug does not happen on
the following configurations:
Ubuntu 13.10
Wine 1.7.15/.16/.17
Graphics card: NVIDIA Geforce 9600GT
NVIDIA driver (proprietary) 319
NVIDIA driver (open-source) 331.67/334.21/337.12
