I can confirm this for wine1.7.17 using wine ppa on ubuntu raring

Tried to used native comdlg32 from xpsp2 and w2ksp4, with which ps crashes too.

Tried to used native comdlg32 from win7sp1 which crashes because of bug 34318
it needs ntdll.dll.EtwRegisterTraceGuidsW

Seems to be some new behaviour from win7.
