Only 1 reported test report. Hard to tell how it works with newer wine.

You may want to try other compatibility mode, 95,98 or me.

at least in kde alt+f2 brings a menu where you can type commands...xrandr -s
1920x1080 would set the video mode 1920x1080. You can also have console open
and type that or similar line into console if you have issues restoring video
mode.
