Please specify what Wine version you're using, if not 1.7.25 then upgrade.

The game comes with native msvcp71, msvcr71 and msvcrt installed in the game
directory but Wine uses the built-in ones. Set msvcp71.dll to (native,builtin)
or (native) in winecfg's libraries tab, and tell us if you've managed to get in
the game with that override.
