wine-1.7.11-306-g8f289c8 console output (Version 3.1, install --> close -->
reopen)

Version 3.1 has the same problem but it seems that an additional problem once
closed and reopened is that it cannot connect to the server to check for
updates. I would be surprised if the two were not related.

Something is working correctly immediately following install which does not
work correctly once closed and reloaded.

There's nothing new in the console log when it is reopened.
