I think this bug should either be reopened or an independent bug opened for the
APC problem that is fixed by the "hackish patch to fix APC problem" that is
attached to this bug report.  From my recent experiment with MSYS2 (see
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35561) this patch is still relevant even
for wine-1.7.12, and as far as I know it appears nowhere but here.
