Of course the problem doesn't exist there because the missing COM object was
added in Wine 1.5.x series (bug 29344).

Please upgrade your Wine to 1.6 or better 1.7 ->

Despite what Ubuntu's default repository says ... Wine 1.4 is _not_ recent.
It was a rather unfortunate choice of including Wine 1.4 (1.6 was already
available at that time) which caused a lot of harm to the Wine community (and
still does).

Please resolve this bug then.
There is nothing to fix here.
