I get this behavior in a lot of my games. I know EvE Online And Civilisation5
crash because of it. In World of Warcraft i get, uh, incorrect geometry beeing
rendered at high speed with the character as a focal point... But i think i
haven't seen it hang solid like the other 2.

When it hangs i can move the cursor, alt-f4 is unresponsive, video and game is
stuck. Trying ctrl-alt-del or alt-tab freezes the comp. This happens to me
without "tabbing out" or anything. Not running anything in the background that
would steal the focus.
