This bug still exists as of 2014 and wine 1.7.10, or at least I have the
problem. I am most definately not running Compiz. I run Arch Linux
(3.12.6-1-ARCH) with Openbox (3.5.2) and not much else. I am using PlayOnLinux
(4.2.2), though.

To replicate the bug, check "Popup window whenever user action is required"
under advanced multitable options in the PokerStars Lobby, then sit down at a
PokerStars table (can be play money) and place the table window over another
window, like say Firefox. Now when it's your turn, the table will lower itself
and "disappear" under the other window rather than raising itself. This also
happens when you stack a PokerStars table over another one.
